There is a huge difference between your diet, exercise and lifestyle and what is considered to be the easiest way to lose weight. The most common misconception is to start eating some processed foods and other foods with added fats. Those who don’t know their nutrition are prone to eating a lot of these foods. In fact, the body uses only about 30% of calories from animal source and 60% from carbs. And as we already know, the body is built to process these carbohydrates, not to eat them!

Other than your diet, you need to look after your health. If you have diabetes or high blood pressure, you are at an increased risk of type-2 diabetes and it could affect your weight. Also, if you do have metabolic syndrome, which can be a combination of obesity, insulin resistance and high blood pressure, you can take care of these conditions too.

Lastly, you need to be mindful about your activity levels. The way you get in shape, what you eat, your fitness level and your mood will all affect your weight. However, most people don’t realize that they can be doing very healthy and healthy things like running in the summer in places not often visited by people in the winter.
