Here are two ways you can kick-start your weight loss:
1) Don’t eat any food at all: Eat less carbohydrates/sugar, and more protein. Eat fat as much as possible – about 30% of your calories for day 1. Eat carbohydrates – at least 80% of your calories on day 1. Eat protein – at least 50% of your calories on day 1.
2) Put on some bodyweight by losing fat: Start cutting calories and gradually increase your calorie intake until you begin putting on substantial amounts of weight.
For most of us people, just getting to a certain weight is not always going to be easy, despite the efforts of many programs. The process of dieting is not easy, but it’s not impossible.
A simple and effective way to make dieting more accessible for everyone is to support the healthy eating habits of all Americans. We can all be part of the solution.

One of the more interesting arguments for why women don’t make as much as men (and a reason not to pay as much attention to men’s earnings, which are still more than their share of pay) is from sociologist David A. Katz, who claims that women’s low pay makes them less attractive as romantic partners and therefore less likely to find a husband.
