Here are two ways you can kick-start your weight loss:

1) Don’t eat any food at all: Eat less carbohydrates/sugar, and more protein. Eat fat as much as possible – about 30% of your calories for day 1. Eat carbohydrates – at least 80% of your calories on day 1. Eat protein – at least 50% of your calories on day 1.

2) Put on some bodyweight by losing fat: Start cutting calories and gradually increase your calorie intake until you begin putting on substantial amounts of weight.

For most of us people, just getting to a certain weight is not always going to be easy, despite the efforts of many programs. The process of dieting is not easy, but it’s not impossible.

A simple and effective way to make dieting more accessible for everyone is to support the healthy eating habits of all Americans. We can all be part of the solution.
