Can I start learning violin at 20? – Violin Lessons For Beginners

August 7, 2020

Well, of course you can. The only requirement is that you have been playing the instrument for one hour. You will be required to pay a fee. The fee will be a minimum of $100.00. Do you have a teacher?” I told her I did not, and she said, “Well, there are a lot of private schools out there. How do they do it? They just walk you through your lessons, and you just have to learn them by heart. What’s the worst that can happen? We have got people who go to this school, they are playing for 12 weeks a year, and they come home and they don’t know how to read music. It’s the most incredible thing.” And with those kinds of things she has built such trust with my family that she just doesn’t care what they say. She’s just very interested in knowing every detail that can help us be a better family.

And here’s one more from my wife:

My son is just 7 and in kindergarten. He wants to study violin and will start lessons in 12 weeks. He doesn’t want to miss anything. He listens to Mozart when he’s awake to play. I’m so proud of him — I want him to have the knowledge and skills and interests his father will provide for him. The only downside is, he’s afraid of not understanding something before he’s too old to understand it.

I know there are many people who like this. I’m not one of them, though. I really like the idea of getting people to play and understand the mechanics the way they want to. But just because you like a mechanic, doesn’t mean you can just take the idea and put it in game because it’s fun. If we don’t give you the tools to playtest the mechanics you want to play with, we can’t test the entire game mechanics, right? So if you have a very cool idea for a mechanic but you don’t know how to playtest it before you implement it, it’s pretty pointless to even try to implement it. Especially when it’s the exact same idea that I already had for one of the game’s mechanics and I just wanted someone else to playtest and give feedback on it.

You can ask me a hundred times and I’ll never answer you; this is not me trying to prove you wrong or anything. I simply prefer to focus on what I want to do better instead of what I need other people to do better. We have to figure out
