I’ve never done it and I am a little unsure on the details but here we go…The stuffed animal needs to be about 4 to 5 inches long. If it’s too long the legs will be on the wrong side. You don’t want the head side facing up so use a tape measure (if you need that information it’s in the directions.) You can’t cut your plastic into anything but 2×2 squares, just make a vertical line on one side and trace over with a pencil.

Trace around the middle of the foam and you should see the “tail” piece. (the top part of the animal). You then just cut your foam in a 90 degree or so cross at the top.

You can trim away the tail and you’ll have this.

A man is in custody after his car was caught in the crossfire of a crash where a gun was fired in a separate incident.

It happened shortly after 11 p.m. near the intersection of West Lake Street and St. Clair Avenue in north Birmingham, police said.

That happened just seconds after another car collided with a police car on St. Clair, then sped off.

When police arrived on the scene, they could see the driver involved in the other crash, but also in another car, police said.

He was arrested and remains in custody.

The second car was a Dodge Challenger (pictured above), police said.
