Krita is better than gimp so we should use it to write Krita. We don’t need Krita in order to use Krita, but we need to know a few things to make it faster for us.
For one thing, Krita saves lives!
One of the many great things about Krita is the power to render pictures without having to load a separate image in memory. The problem is, sometimes that image does not do a good job — and while we can use our own brushes to write to a file, there’s always that possibility of something being miswritten which makes it unusable for a very bad reason.
For example, if we have an image of a very old friend of ours that we just discovered and it’s only partially done in one color, we can’t use those brushes to fill in anything more than a couple pixels.
In such cases, you have to do it all by hand. This way you will avoid having to go through the endless process of figuring out where you saved a color and how you are going to use it afterwards.
Krita is already a great tool and by using it we can use it every day. We can write Krita in a few seconds, and it’s pretty fast to get our hands dirty with colors, shading, et cetera. (A picture of Krita: The K-Line in Krita is really nice and you can see the source code.)
What if I lose an image?
Well that’s a whole other story though!
If the image is missing, Krita can also be used to draw it. The problem is that you’ll need to do a lot of image copying on your end. There is a tool called KImage, but it is not very user-friendly. It does not take the trouble of figuring out what image is the source file, as if it were a regular file containing an image. As such, you are looking for a program to handle the task.
In any case, if the missing image exists, you’ll be able to make your own drawing on the fly. It will certainly take some time, but it’s worth it if the result is very good!
I hope you enjoyed the introduction. I hope Krita was a good guide to you that you can give to other people. Krita is a very nice text editor and it
